Viennese founder Stefanie Kukla launched her startup, Madame Kukla, along with a specially designed wrap dress made of jersey. The idea behind it : a versatile dress made from a single piece of fabric that can be worn in multiple ways, as a dress, scarf, vest or top and that can be worn by many different types of people and body sizes.
I joined the team after reaching out to Stefanie to help her quickly resolve a fabric issue. She had a special piqué jersey fabric that was no longer available from her original supplier and I offered to find a solution. Leveraging my network, we found a manufacturer within just a few days who could produce the fabric, even at a lower cost. That’s how our journey together began.
Following this successful project, I remained involved in every new fabric sourcing, attended fairs to propose new materials and continued developing them with the team.
